Blogging is something close to my heart, I've lost count of how many truly amazing sources I've relied on to save my hide 🤣 - both personally and professionally.
I've been rather inconsistent in my own blogging efforts though. Having launched and abandoned a few good ones in the past lyncexch.co.uk, skypepro.co.uk and noiinteams.co.uk to name just three incarnations.
I think the issue was they were only work focussed and my passions and interests change so much as does my technical focus in and out of work.
So this is going to be a truly free-for-all, access all areas blog that I can just dump whatever is on my mind, good or bad, no expectations.
Just to give you an idea of what might eventually end up here:
Professional Interests
- Microsoft Teams (mostly telephony, but not limited to just that)
- Dynamics 365 (Specifically Power Platform, Dataverse, Power Apps, and so on)
- Copilot (AI, LLM, Generative Models in all of their forms and incarnations)
Technology Interests
- 3D Printing (Filament and Resin) and Laser Cutting/Engraving etc
- Self-hosted 'stuff'. Docker, *arrs ecosystem, Home Assistant, and more
- Programming C# and anything that makes something do something
- Remote Control - Quadcopters and wings - First Person View specifically
Creative Interests
- Photography - Animals, landscapes, reportage, and astrophotography
- Music Production - Ableton, e-drums, Novation Launch Pad, etc
- Video Editing and Production - Da Vinci / Premiere Pro
- 3D Modelling - Blender
